DA Claims Andover Family Killed In Suspected Murder-Suicide

According to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office, the three-person family who was discovered shot to death in their Andover home early Thursday morning is thought to have died in an apparent murder-suicide.

At 3:20 a.m., a 911 call was made from the Porter Road residence, according to authorities. When authorities arrived, Sebastian Robinson, 12, and his parents, Andrew Robinson, 56, and Linda Robinson, 55, were discovered dead from gunshot wounds.

According to the district attorney’s office, Andrew Robinson appeared to have self-inflicted his gunshot wounds. According to Tucker, the 12-year-old youngster attended St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers and was a sixth-grader. A notice on the school’s website said classes would be canceled on Thursday.

According to Ed Hardiman, Head of School at St. John’s Prep, Sebastian was a sixth-grade student and said the school was “heartbroken” by the 12-year-passing. According to the Essex County District Attorney’s office, Old Sebastian Robinson is his real name.

During a press conference on Thursday, Hardiman said,

“Our community is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Sebastian,”

He claimed that at about 5:30 a.m., the situation was reported to the school. Sebastian, according to Hardiman, was very active in the St. John’s music community and had a “soft” presence.

According to Hardiman,

“He’s with the same group of kids, the same group of teachers on a very frequent basis, so they’re feeling this loss in a very significant way.”
