While at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Dalal showcased her leadership abilities by serving as the Student Secretary for the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). Her involvement in the NJIT chapter allowed her to contribute to the organization’s initiatives and foster a vibrant design community.

From 2016 to 2017, She gained hands-on experience as a Model Shop Technician at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, she was vital in maintaining the prototyping space, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting fellow students with their projects and the proper use of machinery.

Dalal’s exploration of design extended to the automotive industry when she worked as a Sponsored Studio – Vehicle and User Experience Designer for Peugeot in Pasadena, California, from January to April 2019; after that, She was contracted by the Los Angeles Metro from May to August 2019 for four months.

Her journey in the design field began with a Full-time Footwear Design Student position at PENSOLE Academy, where she served from August 2019 to September 2019. In the same period, Elsheikh also had the opportunity to contribute her expertise as a member of a Sponsored Studio – Ux & Industrial Design team at Waymo in Pasadena, California.
