Aaron Jones is an American football running back for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Aaron LaRae Jones was born on December 2, 1994, in Savannah, Georgia, the United States to Vurgess and Alvin Jones Sr, who are two career non-commissioned officers in the US Army.

Aaron Jones lost his father, who died on April 6, 2021, from COVID-19. He was raised alongside his twin brother Alvin Jr., older brother Xavier, and sister Chelsirae.

Aaron Jones’s twin brother, Alvin Jones Jr. is a football linebacker for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Aaron Jones and his siblings lived in Germany, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and near the Mexican border in the city of El Paso due to the nature of their parents’ postings. He attended and played high school football for Burges High School in El Paso, Texas.
