Meet Sean McVays parents, Tim and Cindy McVay

Sean McVay is a National Football League coach who heads the Los Angeles Rams. He was appointed in 2017 at the age of 30 and has been the youngest coach to head an NFL team and also the youngest to have won a Super Bowl. The football coach has made two Super Bowls and won one and also received the AP NFL Coach of the Year Award.

He was born on January 24th, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio, United States of America. His family is deeply embedded in football as his father used to play as a defensive back at Indiana University and his grandfather, John McVay was the head football coach at the University of Dayton, New York Giants, and also serve as general manager of the San Francisco 49ers.

It’s clear that Sean McVay’s love and enthusiasm for football comes from his dad and grandfather. He attended Marist School in Brookhaven, Georgia in 2004 where he was a four-year starter at Marist as a defensive back and quarterback for the War Eagles high school football team
