In 2000, Burke became the first woman to be a color analyst for a New York Knicks game on radio and television. Since 2009, Burke worked as the sideline reporter for the NBA Finals for ABC Sports. Burke agreed on a multiyear extension contract to works as an NBA commentator on ESPN.
