Russell Simmons Thanks Ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons for Being an Amazing Mom

Russell Simmons shared an appreciative post that warmed the hearts of his followers.

Although they have been divorced for many years, Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons-Leissner share one of the most envied co-parenting relationships.

Russell recently reminded his fans of their bond when he took to Instagram to upload an appreciative post that came with the caption:

“Thank you God and ...thank you @kimoraleesimmons For being an amazing example of motherhood everyday = #mothersday the proof is in the pudding.”

The post, which was an adorable clip of the children, has been watched over 70,000 times by Russell’s fans who also dropped hundreds of comments praising the duo’s relationship.

Although nobody knows the reason Kimora and her husband, Tim Leissner, adopted the boy [Gary], he would be joining her four other children, Ming, Aoki, Kenzo, and Wolfe.

The father-of-two’s Instagram post comes just a few weeks after Daily Mail reported that the Kimora celebrated her son, Wolfe’s birthday in the sweetest way.

The mother-of-five looked happy as she posed with all her children in what seemed to be the first picture that she has shared of all of her children since she adopted her 10-year-old son Gary back in January.

The snap showed the family gathered in front of a balloon arrangement wishing Wolfe a happy birthday during the lockdown. People added that the birthday celebrant looked unbothered as he took some swings at a dinosaur piñata.

As regards her son, Gary, Madame Noire revealed that although nobody knows the reason Kimora and her husband, Tim Leissner, adopted the boy, he would be joining her four other children, Ming, Aoki, Kenzo, and Wolfe.

In addition to celebrating the new bundle of joy, Aoki started a new path back in 2019 when she got accepted at Harvard University.

According to Inside Edition, the Simmons family had taken a tour of the college where the 17-year-old planned to study government while helping her mother with the re-launch of the clothing line, Baby Phat.

Unfortunately, Aoki had to go back home from college after the Ivy League school made it known that they would be canceling classes due to the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus.

Although the news was upsetting, the 17-year-old chose to look on the bright side as she packed her belongings.
